What a full pink screen is good for
- A soft light for selfies and video calls. A bright light pink screen in front of your face works as a gentle fill light: it softens shadows and adds a warm tone to skin. Put a tablet or laptop slightly above eye level, about an arm's length away, with the brightness turned up.
- Mood and room lighting. Hot pink or deep pink on a TV, monitor or tablet makes an instant colored light for parties, photos, short videos, gaming setups or a themed room.
- A plain background. A full screen of light pink is a clean backdrop for product photos of small objects, or behind you in a video.
- Checking pixels. Pink is red and blue with no green. On a hot pink screen, a bright green or white dot is a stuck green subpixel, and a black dot is a dead pixel. For a full check, use the dead pixel test.
Which pink to pick
| Shade | Best for |
|---|---|
| Hot pink | Bold party or neon-style lighting, pixel checks. |
| Light pink | Selfie and video-call light, soft backgrounds. |
| Deep pink | Strong colored light that still looks pink at low brightness. |
| Soft pink | The gentlest light; a calm pastel wallpaper. |

Pink screen wallpaper in your exact resolution
The download creates a plain pink PNG in your browser at the size you choose. This device uses your screen's exact pixel resolution, so it fits without stretching or blurry edges. Set it as your wallpaper from Photos or Gallery on a phone, or from display settings on a computer.
Did your screen turn pink on its own?
If you didn't open a pink screen and your display suddenly has a pink or magenta tint, the green part of the picture is usually missing. Check these, from most to least common:
- A loose or damaged video cable. On an external monitor or TV, a bad HDMI, DisplayPort or VGA connection often drops the green signal. Reseat both ends or try another cable and port.
- A color setting or filter. On Windows check Night light and Color filters; on Mac, Night Shift; on iPhone, Settings › Accessibility › Display & Text Size › Color Filters; on a TV, the picture mode and color temperature.
- A graphics driver problem on a computer, especially right after an update. Reinstall the driver from the GPU maker's site.
- Hardware damage. If the tint is there even on the device's own startup or BIOS screen, the panel or its connector needs a repair.
Want a different color? Try the red screen, the white screen or the black screen.
How we tested this tool
We checked in a desktop browser and at a 375 px phone width that each pink shade opens full screen in the right color and closes with Esc and the ✕ button, and that the downloaded wallpaper is a PNG of the chosen size filled with the chosen pink.
Frequently asked questions
How do I make my whole screen pink?
Tap one of the pink shades on this page. It fills the display and switches to full screen where your browser allows it. Press Esc or tap the ✕ button to go back.
Can I use a pink screen as a light for selfies or video calls?
Yes. Open Light pink or Soft pink on a tablet, laptop or second phone, turn the brightness up and place it in front of you, slightly above eye level. It gives a soft, warm fill light; it won't replace a real ring light, but it helps in a dim room.
Why did my screen turn pink by itself?
A pink or magenta picture usually means the green part of the signal is missing: a loose or damaged video cable on a monitor or TV, a wrong color setting, a color filter, or a graphics driver problem. Reseat the cable first, then check color settings and update the driver.
How do I set a pink screen wallpaper?
Choose a shade and This device as the size, tap Download, then set the saved image as your wallpaper from your phone's Photos or Gallery app or your computer's display settings.
